About Bree

Our owner and artistic director started dancing at three.

Bryana (“Bree”) Meyers is a Southern California native. She began dancing at the age of 3 at Fine Arts Academy of Dance under the direction of Michael Van Patten, where she trained in ballet, tap, jazz and lyrical. Bryana has always had a love for sports and the arts, but it wasn’t until her senior year in high school as dance captain, that she realized she really wanted to pursue dance as a career.

Bryana spent 3 years in the dance department at California State University Long Beach under the direction of Andy Vaca, before deciding that moving to the heart of LA would be better for auditions, so she transferred to California State University Los Angeles in 2009, where she finished her education and graduated as a double major with a B.A in Theatre Arts & Dance and English Literature in 2010. Bryana has had the pleasure of dancing all over the world under such programs as Alvin Ailey in New York, Hubbard Street in Chicago, Urban Bush Women in San Francisco and Lulu Washington in Los Angeles. She is professionally trained in ballet, jazz, lyrical, modern, hip-hop and Afro-Caribbean, but modern dance has always been her passion.

Bryana has a love for musical theatre and has choreographed musicals such as Urinetown and Evita for her Alumni, as well as spring and winter dance performances. She is currently a dancer for Hae Kyung Lee & Dancers, an LA-based modern dance company. Bryana enjoys teaching and watching her students find themselves through dance. She is honored to be the new owner and artistic director of Classical Dance Center, now Rhythmic Arts Academy of Dance, and is extremely grateful for her husband Don, and parents Ruby and Johnny Manly, for their unselfish love and support in making this dream a reality.
